Nipigon River Bridge
The Nipigon River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridges with a total superstructure of 252m and a 139m main span. The superstructure system consists of three longitudinal steel plate edge girders and a transverse floor beam grid supporting full depth precast concrete deck panels stitched through Ductal in-fill joints.
McElhanney’s bridge design and erection engineering group (formerly Infinity Engineering) is responsible for several specialist engineering services including step-by-step staging analysis, development of the erection and geometry control manuals, and temporary works design and review.
